2023 – A Learning Year
It’s nearly time for us shut up shop for the festive & New Year period and ensure the Impact team have themselves a very merry and self-nurturing time away from the work we all love to do.
Happy Holidays & A Healthy New Year!
This year we have made improvements to our courses, suggested by our learners, and worked hard at extending our reach to many new agencies, organisations, communities and people, using social media, newsletters, leaflets and good-old fashion phone calls!
At the beginning of September, we introduced our newest wellbeing course, YOUR Choice, facilitated by Jackie Bean. This course captures all our new learning, research and new science backed knowledge and practices to inform, enable and support learners.
Teaching people how to develop their mental wellbeing and sharing effective and innovative ways to help people take better care of their total health and wellbeing, is still at the very core of what we do.
From August 2022 to August 2023, Impact delivered 28 online courses to 235 learners in Central Bedfordshire & Bedford.
We sadly said a huge thank you and au-revoir to volunteer, Harry Lindsey in the summer of this year.
Harry has selflessly volunteered his time for more than five years, supporting the Impact team with administration, I.T. and delivery support. He also played a pivotal role in helping us to navigate our way as we moved our courses online.
I am sure many of you will join us in wishing Harry the very best of luck in his new endeavors for the future and to offer our heartfelt thanks for his support and dedication on his Impact journey.
A huge thank you to Impact’s Advisory Board, for their continued steadfast support, advice, patience and commitment.
To Rubber Duck Digital and the amazing tech and digital team. To our brilliant accountants, TaxAssist in Dunstable, and our HR and Legal teams, thank you for your support and for meeting our constantly evolving needs!
Lastly, and most importantly, a profound thanks to each learner who found the courage to join us on a course, we truly would not exist without you.
Whatever 2024 brings, Impact is ready, and as ever, hopeful.
