Impact Mental Health Peer Support C.I.C. requires an organised person with financial flair to help manage our programme delivery income and expenditure and day-to-day finances.

What will you be doing?

The role involves

  • Keeping a set of books using software to recall all income and expenditure for the programme delivery.
  • Processing all income and expenditure through Receipt Bank and Quick Books each month
  • Monitoring and advising on cash flow issues.
  • Produce quarterly management accounts for the programme delivery.
  • Assisting in preparation of quarterly returns of income and expenditure for submission to the board of directors.
  • Assisting in the submission of all financial information to our accountants for year-end.

What are we looking for?

  • Accountancy/book-keeping skills
  • Keen interest in mental health and wellbeing
  • Knowledge of not-for-profit and commercial business
  • Enthusiasm, flexibility and patience

What difference will you make?

This key role is vital to ensure the smooth running of programme delivery and all financial requirements. The role will play a significant part within the team and enable Impact to develop business and build on sound financial planning.

Desired skills, qualifications and experience

Accountancy, Accountancy (part qualified), Auditing, Bookkeeping, Financial management, personal experience of a mental health struggle.
