What Is The YOU Programme?

Community Mental Health

The YOU Programme can be the most important first step to feeling better, improving your mental health and wellbeing and getting your life back on track through supporting education and peer empowerment.

The free, one-day a week programme, held over four weeks, teaches people how to manage and reduce negative thoughts, feelings and behaviours, using a wide range of self-management models, tried and tested theories and wellbeing recovery tools.

Who Are Impact?

At Impact, we all have personal experiences and understanding of how overwhelming it can feel not knowing where to turn for help, especially when it feels like no one understands the struggles and challenges of every day simple tasks caused by poor mental wellbeing.

That’s why we have designed a wellbeing peer support programme based on what we believe really works to support people to feel empowered, build confidence using a peer support network and start making positive changes to improve the quality of their health and their lives.

Is This For ME?

You don’t have to have a mental health diagnosis to benefit from attending one of our YOU Programmes.

Many people who attend our programmes are struggling with a variety of life challenges, such as

  • bereavement
  • relationship problems
  • stress at home
  • stress at work
  • unemployment
  • work related issues
  • anxiety
  • and many other problems that are affecting their quality of living and their overall health.

With or without a diagnosis, the YOU Programme really can help you to regain focus, embrace hope and start enjoying life again.
