New Academic Year 2017-18

The Impact team are thrilled to once again be delivering the fantastic You Programmes and our empowering Pathways to Recovery courses for the New Academic Year 2017-18

Here’s a snap-shot of what we’ve been up to…

August has seen a lot of planning for 2017/18, with some exciting additions and fine-tuning of our delivery, with the help and support from some of our learners who attended courses earlier this year.

New dates for both the You Programme and Pathways To Recovery are now available.

We also welcome three new volunteers to our team, currently undergoing their training and induction to become Peer Support Volunteers.

Jessica Hewitt, who attended both programmes earlier this year, and the youngest member of our team will be supporting facilitators in the Dunstable area starting on 6th September.

Lynne Stone, also attended both programmes and brings with her a wealth of knowledge in mentoring and peer support, will support the facilitation team in the Leighton Buzzard area starting on 8th September.

Finally, Siobhan Hussain, will support our team in the Biggleswade area with her background in education, training and her knowledge of peer support after attending both programmes. Siobhan hopes to start volunteering with us on 9th October.

We also recognise the recent recruitment of Carolyn Lewis.

Carolyn attended a You Programme in 2016 and completed her Pathways To Recovery course shortly after whilst going through her training and induction to become our Admin volunteer. Carolyn is now fully involved in all aspects of Impact’s administration and matters relating to programme venues/locations/dates in addition to Impact enquiries.

Jackie Bean who has volunteered her time with us during 2017, begins her role as Programme Manager on 1st September. Jackie will coordinate all course delivery details in partnership with Carolyn and continues to deliver both courses with other facilitators around the county.

For new business enquiries or discussions on delivering any of our programmes in your area, please contact Déanne Clark, CEO.
