Healthy, Happy & Hopeful.

Although this year has been filled with hardship for many of us, I am reminded every day by those we teach and support of the importance of hope, and belief that change can happen to improve our health, our happiness and our hope.

In every one of our free educational wellbeing courses, we have met people who have struggled.

People who continue to struggle with the deep cost of living, political instability, lifestyle uncertainty and traumatic global events.

Yet, these very people found the courage and self-commitment to seek enablement, education and empowerment with Impact, to help themselves, their future and their mental health.

Every year my team and I are grateful to have met so many inspiring and courageous people.

People just like you and I, trying to manage the overload of world events and keep ourselves healthy, happy and hopeful.

So, this time of year allows us to look back – but not for too long – because it also encourages us to think forward.

We ask ourselves what we would like to do in the coming year, what we hope for and how we might work towards happy and healthy changes.

For 2022, I offer my heartfelt gratitude and thanks to each and every person who has shared their struggles and hope with us on our courses. We are grateful for your feedback, for your suggestions to enhance our newest courses, and for allowing us to be there for you.

We are all hugely grateful to Central Bedfordshire Council for their continued support and belief, despite undergoing their own changes this year.

In particular, we offer a special thank you to Christine Knox, Employment and Skills Academy – Programme Manager at CBC for her unstinting support and clarity on many, many occasions.

To the many, many Professional Supporters of Impact who know our value to their clients and customers and continue to refer people to our organisation, thank you.

To those that work for and with us, Dave Masterton – TaxAssist, Phil Evans – Rubber Duck Digital, who ensure we operate and deliver to the very best of our abilities and who have taken the time to understand our beliefs and values, thank you.

To our Advisory Board, we thank you from the bottom of our hearts for providing us with a solid foundation from which to govern and for your expertise, patience and guidance as we have navigated our way through change.

To the Impact team, your compassion and commitment is second-to-none. Every change has been embraced positively, every challenge met with determination. Thank you.

For 2023, Jackie Bean, Director, and I, pledge to continue our commitment, passion and hard work in ensuring Impact is here for all those who need us and want to travel the wellbeing journey with us. We can’t wait to meet you!
