A Flower in an Hour!

If you have been on one of our programmes, you’ll know how much we like a bit of craft time at Impact!

If not, don’t worry, Impact are creating a ‘Craft Corner’ at our Pop-Ins for those who want to get creative whilst enjoying the peer support on offer at our Pop-In sessions.

Creating something with others helps us to relax, de-stress be mindful and can achieve a sense of calm and fulfilment.

If you’d like to learn to knit or crochet something lovely, bring your needles, hooks and wool along on Tuesday 5^th June and you might just learn how to make ‘a flower in an hour!’

Learning to crochet a basic granny square can lead to making cushions and scarfs. Or how about designing and making your own fabric shopping bag out of cut-up clothing? Creating something can be FUN especially over a cuppa and with friends!

To get us started we would appreciate any donations of craft supplies to help set up the Craft Corner. If you’re an Impact Peer, your ideas for the Craft Corner and what you would like to make, would also be most welcome
